The food was excellent, the host was a bit chaotic during my visit. But it was because he simply missed the reservation of 18 people - and that when the restaurant was fully occupied. But somehow we were accommodated. Staff excellent.

So far, we have been to Wirtshaus Essen twice on vacation. It's really great !!! The owner and cook at the same time is very nice and conjures up fantastic food. The service is very friendly and attentive! Can only be recommended !!!!!

Actually, I went to this place with great anticipation. With one unfortunately, another out again. I and my husband were a little disappointed, as the food was always very well praised. Maybe as you know, you can't argue about the taste " Still, I thought it was a shame. Cutlery was not completely at the table.

The location is in the village idyll. Parking was just enough, it was very well attended. The menu was partly sold out and the game dish, as well as the dumplings, sauce and sideboard hardly met my requirements.

Best place I have eaten in Bavaria. I am often disappointed when I go out to eat in this area but this place was exceptional! Fresh fish, and fresh vegetables from the region, amazing service. Flavor was outstanding. Will definitely go back 👍

Eat dinner tonight at the "Wirtshaus im Gut". The "trout blues" was a dream. The appetizer salad very big. The house dressing wonderful. All in all, very delicious food. The tavern or the design of the guest rooms invite you to relax in a good atmosphere. I would like to be included in the vaulted wine cellar overnight :) However, the acoustics in the Gastraum.something could be improved. It echoes a lot.
